We’ve teamed up with Lions International to recycle your old spectacles. Since the demise of the previous national scheme we were left with nowhere to send your old spectacles.
Thankfully we have come to an arrangement with Lions International who take your old spectacles from us. They carefully sort through and recycle as many complete pairs as possible, which go to help save the sight of people less fortunate than ourselves in other countries. Any pairs that are beyond recycling are sent to a special processing plant which separates the different materials – acetates, metals and glass which are then broken down into reusable pellets.
