Acuvue Moist Multifocal Contact Lenses

Benjamin’s is pleased to announce that we are now offering our patients a new type of multifocal contact lens. The new 1-Day Acuvue Moist Multifocal contact lenses are revolutionary, helping counteract the effects of short and long sightedness. A true multifocal contact lens, so you get the best of both worlds, rather than simply wearing lenses for distance and spectacles for close up. Benjamin’s are one of the first in the country to be able to offer these life changing contact lenses.
Benjamin Opticians - Acuvue Moist Multifocal Contact Lenses

You may have been wearing contact lenses to help combat myopia – short sightedness, which greatly help with distance vision, but lately have you discovered it is getting increasingly difficult to read fine print or to see in low light? Have you begun moving your phone further away to find the spot where you can see clearly? Then you may have presbyopia, but it’s completely normal and very common once you reach your forties, In fact, most people suffer from presbyopia in varying degrees as they get older.

To see if they are right for you, ask about 1-Day Acuvue Moist Multifocal Contact Lenses next time you visit your Contact Lens Optician at Benjamin’s. You can also find out more at the Acuvue website. Your vision will change, but your experience won’t – so look forward to multifocal near and far vision and enjoy comfort and convenience for many years to come.

With new 1-Day Acuvue Moist Multifocal Contact Lenses you’ll experience clear vision — near, intermediate, and far, in dim light and bright — so you can continue wearing contact lenses to do the things you love. They are built on the 1-Day Acuvue Moist platform, which you may already know well and that means you get long-lasting cushion of moisture, helping to reduce dryness and maximise comfort. Plus your multifocal prescription can change as your eyes age too as they take into account decreasing pupil size and as with all Acuvue lenses, they afford level 1 or 2 UV protection.

In recent trials held by Johnson and Johnson, ahead of the launch, these multifocal lenses have proved outstanding – with 94% of patients leaving the practice after only two trial fits and over two trail days every patient could see well and liked the product – unheard of reactions in most clinical trial.
