A family run independent practice based in Skipton. The professional co- Directors are Contact Lens Optician David Benjamin and Dispensing Optician Liz Ellis who have respectively 35 years and 20 years experience in vision care.

Their professional colleagues are Hannah Cutler Optometrist, Susan Oakley Optometrist and Rachel Brown Dispensing Optician. All our professional staff are fully qualified eye care practitioners registered with the General Optical Council. We choose not to have unregistered staff dealing with patient eye care.

Alongside and helping to deliver a high standard of service we have reception staff Jacky, Christine, Jeanette, Julie and Practice Administrator  Elizabeth Benjamin.

We are situated less than 100 yards from Skipton's busy High Street. The listed building in which the practice is based has 3 consulting rooms one of which is on the ground floor. There is level access from the rear car park which is solely for the use of clients who have mobility problems. Parking can be reserved by appointment.

The practice also benefits from having two Spectacle Frame Dispensing rooms both of which have video systems to assist with frame selection and a Designer Sun-spec area.  

Since its establishment by Clifford Benjamin in 1953 the practice aim has been to achieve the highest standards of clinical and customer care. Its success is built on that principal.
